BIP (Oldbury) Ltd is seeking a primary working partner to deliver a comprehensive, turn-key steam plant replacement and relocation project. As part of our corporate commitment to energy efficiency and carbon reduction, we are investing in two (2) new high-efficiency steam boilers, each with a capacity of 5,000 kg/hr at 150 psi. the new equipment will be sited in a new location and will include all ancillary equipment, new buildings and full M&E installation.
An initial review of available solutions has identified the following equipment types as suitable benchmarks; however, alternative equipment will be considered where it can demonstrate performance equivalent to or exceeding the capability of the referenced items.
The proposed scope currently comprises:
- Replace oversized existing two Wellman steam boilers installed in 1992 with combined capacity of 27,000kg/hr.
- Align steam requirements on site to current and future demands.
- Improve efficiencies of energy used with modern boilers as well as reducing steam losses.
